The monzisma is a 5-limit unnoticeable comma measuring about 0.29 cents. Although difficult to grasp at a glance, it is the difference between the a stack of two schismas and the 53-comma. It is also the difference between three pythagorean commas and 25/24. Tempering it out leads to monzismic temperament, as part of the schismic–Mercator equivalence continuum.
In the 7-limit, it can be expressed as the square root of the product of nanisma times ragisma. In the 13-limit, it can be expressed as the quotient between two tridecapyth commas and 676/675.
When tempered out, it halves the fourth or the tritave. A possibly more accessible way to grasp this comma is as the difference between a stack of seven 256/243 Pythagorean limmas and a 36/25 tritone.
