Georg Friedrich Haas (born 16 August 1953 in Graz, Austria) is an Austrian composer. He has been called "the most important living composer".[1]. He is known for composing with light, space, and aleatoric techniques[2][3], as well as experimenting with microtonality. Some of his pieces combine 12-ET with just intonation.[4] He has also composed in 72-ET[5] and 128 tuning.[6]
