418 equal divisions of the octave (abbreviated 418edo or 418ed2), also called 418-tone equal temperament (418tet) or 418 equal temperament (418et) when viewed under a regular temperament perspective, is the tuning system that divides the octave into 418 equal parts of about 2.87 ¢ each. Each step represents a frequency ratio of 21/418, or the 418th root of 2.
