twethunusoruyo negative 2nd,
Twethunusoruyo comma
reduced
(Shannon, [math]\displaystyle{ \sqrt{nd} }[/math])
3060/3059, the viciousma or vicious comma is a 23-limit superparticular comma of about 0.57 cents. It is the amount by which a stack of 17/14, 24/19 and 30/23 exceeds an octave. By tempering it out is defined the vicious temperament, which enables the vicious chords.
Etymology
The word vicious for this comma was introduced by Xenllium in 2023. It was so named because essentialy tempered triads 1-24/19-23/15 (with steps 24/19-17/14-30/23) and 1-17/14-23/15 (with steps 17/14-24/19-30/23) are "vicious", on account of their dissonance in comparison to the classical major triad (1-5/4-3/2) and minor triad (1-6/5-3/2).
