28/1, the 28th harmonic, is the harmonic past 27/1 and before 29/1. It is about four octaves and ten semitones in size. Used in harmony, it sounds particularly wide: if the lower note is F1, the higher note will be about Eb6. That is for all practical purposes beyond the range of choral music. However, it remains useful in some instrumental solos and ensembles. Like 20/1, it can be approached in various ways of stacking, such as 1–2–4–7–14–28.
