26/1, the 26th harmonic, is the harmonic past 25/1 and before 27/1. It is about four octaves and eight and a half semitones in size. Used in harmony, it sounds particularly wide: if the lower note is F1, the higher note will be about Dd6. That is for all practical purposes beyond the range of choral music. However, it remains useful in some instrumental solos and ensembles. It can be approached as a stack of 2/1 and 13/1, making chords like 1–2–26, 1–13–26, or 1–2–13–26.
