17afdo (arithmetic frequency division of the octave), or 17odo (otonal division of the octave), divides the octave into 17 parts of 1/17 each. It is a superset of 16afdo and a subset of 18afdo. As a scale it may be known as mode 17 of the harmonic series or the Over-17 scale.
