1496/1495, the turkisma is a 23-limit superparticular comma of about 1.16 cents. It is the amount by which a stack consisting of 13/11, 20/17 and 23/16 falls short of an octave. By tempering it out is defined the turkismic temperament, which enables the turkismic chords.
Etymology
The name turkisma was named by Xenllium in 2023. It refers to 1496 Turku, the asteroid. Which in turn was named after a city in Finland.
