12-Tone Ultra Plus® is a guitar tuning designed by Jon Catler. It combines 12edo with 12 additional pitches per octave, featuring the 7th, 11th and 13th harmonics in just intonation.
A guitar neck fretted to this tuning provides the harmonic 7th for seven pitches per octave, which are referred to as the 'Plus' notes on the fingerboard diagram, as well as the harmonic 11th for three pitches per octave and the harmonic 13th for two pitches per octave.
