Circle diagram.

A 17-odd-limit stellated Hexany. This creates a scale of 1 17/16 9/8 153/128 13/8 221/128 117/64 1989/1024 2/1, with steps of 17/16 18/17 17/16 204/153 17/16 18/17 17/16 2048/1989. This only adds two steps to the base hexany, which do not reduce the size of the largest step or add any diatonic fifths, but do at least create a relatively smooth continuum on the other side of the scale where every interval is of melodically effective size.
