63/62, the co-archytas comma, is a small 31-limit (specifically 2.3.7.31-subgroup) comma measuring about 27.7 cents. It is the difference between 31/27 and 7/6, between 31/18 and 7/4, between 31/24 and 21/16, between 31/28 and 9/8, and between 31/21 and 3/2. It lies next to 64/63 (archytas comma) and combines with it to 32/31, the smaller 31-limit quartertone.

Etymology

This comma was known as the co-archyta[s] comma no later than 2020, most likely due to its numerical adjacency to the archytas comma, 64/63.
