49/44, the mothwellsmic major second, is 99/98 flat of 9/8. It arises in 11-limit JI scales as the interval between 8/7 and 14/11, or between 11/7 and 7/4.
Terminology
It could also be called werckismic major second if viewed as fudging from 10/9 instead. But that name more appropriately refers to 55/49. Undecimal minor whole tone is attested in Scala.
