George Secor (1943-2020)[1] is a theorist and composer noted for his discovery of miracle temperament in 1974, whose rediscovery gave a major impetus to the development of the regular mapping paradigm, and who together with Dave Keenan developed Sagittal notation. He has also developed other temperaments and scales, including circulating temperaments both of twelve notes and of more, such as seventeen, and has been an advocate of 17edo.
