I see [https://en.xen.wiki/index.php?title=User%3AFloraC%2FSandbox&type=revision&diff=61122&oldid=61009 your point]. I know that the "[[warts]]" notation is a shorthand for [[val]]s. I think we should branch a [[Template:Vals]] for that. There are places where we already (and will further) use EDOs. In temperament properties we should switch from EDOs to Vals and at the same time prepare EDO pages to mitigate confusion. Until now there is (to my knowledge) no EDO page with a "Vals" section. This is what I hate about the writing style of mathematicians: you are given the impression that you have to know all the parts of a concept before you can understand any one of them.
