"Degree" vs. "Degree of 17edo"
The table in section 17edo neutral scale #Interval chain starts with the headers "Degree" and "Degree of 17edo". The second is quite clear (multiply the "#Gens up" value by 5 and take the rest modulo 17). But what does "Degree" mean? Please add some clarification for it!
