19 equal divisions of 11/9 (abbreviated 19ed11/9) is a nonoctave tuning system that divides the interval of 11/9 into 19 equal parts of about 18.3 ¢ each. Each step represents a frequency ratio of (11/9)1/19, or the 19th root of 11/9.
Theory
This tuning tempers out 81/80 in the 5-limit; 49/48 in the 7-limit; and 121/120 in the 11-limit.
