Hey! I don't know about you, but when I write diatonic harmonies, I prefer my major scale to be written in a system utilizing the following ratio series or its approximations: 1/1, 9/8, 5/4, 4/3, 3/2, 27/16, 15/8, 2/1. : Hi! I'm not sure what I prefer. I think I want to explore "free style" JI that isn't attached to any particular key, and just consists of relative intervals, but of course it's very difficult with real-world instruments.
