Isomorphic keyboard mapping for 5-limit just intonation

Such hexagon-tessellation are well-known, but in my article I try to prove that they have one flaw: the symmetry of this geometry is higher then musical translational symmetry, even for EDOs, so the tessellation made of shifted rectangular rows is more adequate and intuitive. Yes, I do understand that this is just one aspect. Anyway, if you're curious, you may want to take a look at my set of microtonal keyboards for different tonal systems. For now, only EDO systems are used, but I'm working at one of the possible systems based on rational numbers.

The keyboards can be played right away in your browser. This is the internal link to the product: “Microtonal Study” family.

The article I mentioned (not microtonal, but most of the theoretical considerations is there) is on the same page, named: “Musical Study with Isomorphic Computer Keyboard”; other articles describe microtonal instruments and the synthesizer.

Thank you.
