Binary Music

Some wacky music ideas with 2-EDD?

Greetings !

This actually gave me an idea for a composition, based on binary data representations of text! It'll be a while before I can actually render it though.

This is great. (and proves the value of having different people here) Maybe binary isn't such a good idea because only 2 sounds will probably be too boring, but taking some text and making noise from it may help to get decoupled from all that historic Tritonus palaver. I'm looking forward to hearing how this may sound!

Maybe, for a machine, 2-EDD is enough for a inner musicalization of itself.

Maybe each name note is '0' and '0# = 0b' for this machine. All the time bi-tonic "tritonic". Crazy, but curious.

Well, xenwolf, the barrenness of only having two sounds is kinda the point of the piece. And if that "historical Tritonus palaver" doesn't make old uptight conservative dorks mad, the content of the messages certainly will :P

Anyways, it's called "Dichotomy", and I've just edited in a link to it. Cheers.
