Denny Genovese is an American xenharmonic composer and musician. He is the founder of World Harmony Project Inc and of the Southeast Just Intonation Center. He invented the Genovese 12 scale. He cites Harry Partch as a major influence.

He led Denny Genovese's Exotic Music Ensemble, a community orchestra in Gainesville, Florida, from 1992 to 1998. Genovese’s orchestra used various just intonation scales for all its performances, and specialised in pieces involving polyrhythms. Most of the repertoire was written by Genovese himself or other members of the orchestra, and was mostly loosely inspired by non-Western musical traditions.
