(Shannon, [math]\displaystyle{ \sqrt{nd} }[/math])
1682/1681, the Shaftesburisma, is a superparticular comma. It was first described and documented by Douglas Blumeyer in 2021, and later renamed at his request in 2023. The new name references the 1681-1682 prosecution of the 1st Earl of Shaftesbury for high treason. It separates the 41-limit tritones 41/29 and 58/41.
