1197/1196, the rhodesisma is a 23-limit superparticular comma of about 1.45 cents. It is the amount by which a stack consisting of 9/8 and 14/13 exceeds 23/19. By tempering it out is defined the rhodesismic temperament, which enables the rhodesismic chords.
Etymology
The name rhodesisma was named by Xenllium in 2023. It refers to 1197 Rhodesia, the asteroid. Which in turn was named after a region of Southern Africa.
