Ptolemismic chord?

If 1-5/4-25/16 is a ptolemismic chord, then 99/64 would be considered a consonance. However, 25/16 has a lower odd limit than 99/64, and should therefore also be considered a consonance if 99/64 is considered one.--Overthink (talk) 03:21, 28 September 2025 (UTC)

For what it's worth, I legit think that both 99/64 and 25/16 are dissonances. Lower odd limit does not automatically translate to consonance in my ear to be honest. --Aura (talk) 03:37, 28 September 2025 (UTC)
