Circle diagram (rotated).

The simplest possible 17-odd-limit Hexany. This creates a scale of 1 17/16 5/4 17/12 5/3 85/48 2/1, with steps of 17/16 20/17 17/15 20/17 17/16 96/85. There are 5-limit major and minor chords rooted on the 17/12 and 5/3 that can provide stable roots, and the individual steps are not too far out from 12edo, but it does not approximate the diatonic scale at all, making it compositionally interesting in a similar way to scales like whole tone or harmonic minor, but not as flexible as one built around chains of fifths.
