While it is derived from sound mathematical principles, its applications in terms of utility for actual music may be limited, highly contrived, or as yet unknown.

The Dumb Fibonacci series is a subset of the overtone series: only the harmonics which are Fibonacci numbers. It begins:

This like any harmonic series -like tuning, could be octave-reduced, and/or subsets of pitches could be taken to form scales.
