| I added (in the user-specific CSS) the same amount of padding to the heading cells, now the headings don't touch any more.

| I'd like to suggest adding a visible border to the heading cells and maybe also a decent background colour. This will the tables even more look like tables - isn't this the very purpose of tables? ;)
