1-3-5-15 hexany

The second simplest 5-limit Hexany. This creates a scale of 1 5/4 25/16 5/3 15/8 2/1, with steps of 5/4 5/4 16/15 9/8 16/15. This is particularly notable because it is the simplest hexany that results in a pentatonic scale, with 5/4 appearing twice as the reduced product of 1x15 and 3x5. This means any dekanies built using it will also wind up with 9 or fewer notes. As the steps are quite uneven and clustered near the top of the octave, this one is not particularly effective at producing familiar sounding tonal music, although you can build E major and A minor chords using the second and fourth degrees of the scale that give you two points of relative stability and approximate some simple flamenco guitar licks.
