The following table is created with [[User:Hkm/Rankings program|this program]]. Remember that the table is sortable. When sorting a column with some elements that are identical, the rows with identical elements will be left in the order that they were previously; thus, to see, for example, the 22edo works by Byrnes sorted by RYM rating, they would be displayed in order by tapping the RYM rating column, then (in either order) the creator column and tuning column.

Sorting the table by one column should not take more than 0.5 seconds.

'''Ratings here, ideally, should reflect how good each work is ''as microtonal music''''', as opposed to the RYM ratings, for example, which reflect how good each ''microtonal'' work is ''as music''. To illustrate the difference, the microtonal work [https://patriciataxxon.bandcamp.com/track/spiral-staircase Spiral Staircase] by Patricia Taxxon is good as music, but not as microtonal music, as it cycles between alternate 12-note subsets of 24edo. The RYM charts for microtonal works teem with this sort of thing, hence the need for this page. The column on the table for how microtonal a work partially compensates for and explains the inaccuracy of the RYM ratings.

If you're wondering how you can translate your thoughts about each work into ratings, the hypothetical ratings of all the xen music you've listened to, including music so bad it’s not worth rating, should follow a uniform distribution from 0 to 5. This means that a 3/5 is a good score. Alternatively, you can decide to not rate things this way. (In fact, this is old advice: as of now, it's probably best to rate things in a normal distribution centered at 3.)

You may rate both larger projects and songs from those projects. If a song is part of a larger project, we ask that you name it as [LARGER PROJECT]: [SONG]. If the creator is a person posting music under their real name, please use the last name only unless there is a need for disambiguation between people with the same last name. If the creator has a xen wiki account, do not link that account in the Creator section. Feel free to write it in the Notes section. If you do not have an account, ping
@hyperbolekillsme
on the XA Discord with your ratings.
