These specially formatted bits of pages are called Scala files. They are actual files, like, computer files, that you use to tune software instruments. Annotating them that way causes them to break. If you want to annotate a scale, then make a new section on this page beneath “/pre>”, and make an annotated table of intervals there. Leave the Scala file above it untouched.
