You seem to be saying you can embed monzos in a real vector space, or alternatively, in a real vector space.

I was trying to say that you can think of interval space as embedding the =free abelian group= of monzos, specifically, as a lattice in some random real vector space. Or, alternatively, if you prefer thinking of monzos in terms of Z-modules and things, then you can get the same construction by just allowing your monzos to take real coefficients.
 
The conceptual distinction is more important when talking about vals. For instance, when we construct tuning space are we just allowing our vals to take real coordinates so that we end up with a vector space made up of "real vals"? Or are we embedding the vals into this other vector space that's otherwise made tuning maps, which aren't vals of any kind?
