Marc Sabat (born 22 September 1965) is a Canadian composer and violinist based in Berlin, Germany, since 1999.
With Wolfgang von Schweinitz, he co-founded the Plainsound Music Edition website in 2000 and developed the Helmholtz-Ellis notation in 2004. He also participated in the second revision of the Helmholtz-Ellis notation with Thomas Nicholson in 2020.
