Ice tonality is a method of describing a system which tonally uses mohajira as the diatonic scale rather than arabic maqam which follow a much different approach. While typically it refers to 24 edo it can also be found in other equal temperaments.

| "Iced" is a way to refer to a neutral interval to describe the quality it has. Unlike "neutral", iced sounds much less ambiguous and gives the impression that it has a distinct quality rather than just sticking it between major and minor as neutral intervals sound like neither major or minor but in fact have a sound described as "Iced". Therefore, Mohajira[7] can be referred to the "Iced Diatonic Scale" and it's mode's are as follows:
| | The tunings on this page are all 12-note subsets of [[24edo]]. More specifically, they are all based on [[12edo]], with a defined selection of notes ("iced notes") tuned a [[quartertone]] up or down. |

|
| | The following variants have been specified: |
|
| |
|
| || Iced Major (Neutral Scale) || C D Ed F G Ad Bd C || M2 N3 P4 P5 N6 N7 ||
| | =Ice Bookshop= |
| || Iced Locrian || D Ed F G Ad Bd C D || N2 m3 P4 sb5 N6 m7 ||
| | Also called "Iceface tuning 0.1". (This was Hidekazu Wakabayashi's first microtonal tuning, which was called "Iceface Tuning" until the end of 2012.) |
| || Iced Fridgian (Iced Minor) || Ed F G Ad Bd C D Ed || N2 N3 P4 P5 N6 N7 ||

| || Iced Lydian || F G Ad Bd C D Ed F || M2 N3 S4 P5 M6 N7 ||

| Strangely, the mode names do not match the typical order of western mode names due to the odd intervalic nature of mohajira temperament. </pre></div>
