A 44 tone well tempered nonet (44WTN) is related to well temperaments of 37edo and 38edo, but with a nonet rather than the 2/1 being constant. Its patent tunings optimally alternate division of the just perfect fifth into 22 equal parts (22EDF) with sequences of twenty-two equal steps of 27.2727 to 36.3636 cents each. This will create twenty-two equally-spaced intervals between an interval between 600 and 800 cents and the just perfect fifth.
