don't understand language
"These scales temper to a planar temperament a transversal of the convex closure, in the plane defined by the planar temperament, of a tonality diamond."
It seems like you're saying they temper a transversal of some planar temperament back into that planar temperament. How is this different than just saying that these scales are the convex closure of a tonality diamond in some planar temperament?
