Original Wikitext content:

A valinorsmic tetrad is any of four 15-limit [[Dyadic chord|essentially tempered tetrads]] which are tempered by the valinorsma, 176/175. They represent alternative, valinorsmic, temperings of the four 7-limit tetrads with steps 5/4-6/5-8/7-7/6 and 5/4-8/7-6/5-7/6 and their inversions 6/5-5/4-7/6-8/7 and 5/4-7/6-6/5-8/7, leading to 176/175 temperings of 1-5/4-10/7-12/7, 1-5/4-3/2-12/7, 1-6/5-3/2-7/4 and 1-5/4-22/15-7/4. The reason for the similarity between valinorsmic and keenanismic tetrads is that they both temper 48/35, valinorsmic to 15/11 and keenanismic to 11/8.
