What's the microtuner in lmms? How do I use it?

From what I've heard, LMMS has a microtuner option in the settings for each instrument, but only on a brand-new nightly alpha version, which refuses to work at least for me. But on the older versions than that, microtones are still supported with the ZynAddSubFX plugin (but only that one, so you are restricted to chiptune-ish instruments basically). You can also just manually detune instruments if everything else fails. CompactStar (talk) 09:07, 27 December 2023 (UTC)

For example, 24edo as 2 12edo tracks with 1 detuned by 50 cents. And 5edo as 5 tracks with one in-tune one and the rest detuned by 40 cents (to get 240c interval), 80 cents (to get 480c), 20 cents (for 720c) and 60 cents (to get 960c). CompactStar (talk) 09:12, 27 December 2023 (UTC)

Add program

Hello! I have authored a program called EdoBox, which is a modification of another browser-based music composition program called BeepBox, that allows changing tuning systems to EDOs 5–53. Could it be added here? UnbihexiumFan (talk) 22:09, 28 January 2026 (UTC)

For the record I also asked this on Talk:List_of_music_software but I think it counts as a DAW so it might be better here. UnbihexiumFan (talk) 22:20, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
