Tuning error

Despite being very low badness, the error of 11/5 is 28.2 cents in tunings with pure 5/1, more than that of exotemperaments such as dominant and mavila. However, the 125/121 comma is tempered out in flattone, which is arguably not an exotemperament, even if just barely. Ideal tunings of flattone flatten 5/1 by 13-14 cents, around the same error as in 12edo but in the opposite direction. This tuning has 11/5 only sharpened by ~21 cents, which is not perfect, but still much better than 28.2 cents.--Overthink (talk) 04:17, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
