After his conservatory studies in the Netherlands, Jeroen Thesseling worked out a few microtonal experiments on six-string bass guitar. 'HAFNIUM' - study in 72tET (1999), 'ARGON' - study in 18tET (2000). Later in his musical career he used a 7-string fretless bass guitar with subcontra tuning.
