User:CompactStar/Nonoctave extension of ups and downs notation

There are many standard notations for octave-equivalent scales like ups and downs notation for EDO intervals, FJS for JI intervals, TAMNAMS and Modal UDP notation for MOS scales, etc., but there are not many similar notations for non-octave scales. Here I will outline some similar notations to ups and downs notation and TAMNAMS for fifth and tritave-equivalent scales, the most common non-octave scales.
