Clan structure

FloraC, you seem to have a very clear idea of the structure of the topic. I have difficulties to understand how it works in detail. What would you suggest how to approach it? Where to start? --Xenwolf (talk) 11:38, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

My approach to the structure of such families/clans is to view them as trees. First there's a root. Adding a comma to it extends it to the next prime limit. Adding different commas makes branches, with which I tend to use the next level of header so that the hierarchy is clear.

I also noticed different logics in these pages. E.g. in meantone family, a number of 11-limit extensions which split the period (namely octave) into two are placed together. FloraC (talk) 15:17, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
