The Novelty template adds a message box to inform readers of pages that present novelty topics. It also places the page in Category:Novelties.
Usage
This template should be placed at the top of the page, without any argument:
{{Novelty}}
which will show:
![]() |
This page presents a novelty topic.
It may contain ideas which are less likely to find practical applications in music, or numbers or structures that are exceedingly large, complex, or chosen arbitrarily. Novelty topics are often developed by a single person or a small group. As such, this page may also contain idiosyncratic terms, notation, or conceptual frameworks. |
