The Niche template adds a message box to inform readers of pages that present niche topics. It also places the page in Category:Niche topics.

Usage

This template should be placed at the top of the page, without any argument:

which will show:

This page presents a niche topic.

While not arbitrary, it may contain ideas whose practical applications in music are unknown or narrow in scope.
