A the time I was pretty much a beginner musician and eager to learn, and unfortunately was many times assaulted with walls of inscrutable jargon by people lacking the empathy to care if I know the words they are using or even actually answering my question. When asked for clarification I'd receive more of the same. Trying to check the meaning of the arcane words they were using on the wiki didn't help much because they were explained in terms of more jargon. Back then I lacked the knowledge to see that these people had mostly little to no skill or interest in making actual music. I wasted so much time on trying to understand and it took some time and experience in actual music making to see that all that was a best marginally useful for making music.
