Essentially an answer to Frostburn's question "Is there a rank-2 temperament with a fancy subgroup where √2 ~ 17/12, √3/2 ~ 11/9 and √4/3 ~ 15/13 without further contortion of the generator or does that necessarily happen?" Note that this was derived by CompactStar before me, totally independently.

Pakkanian Hemipyth, 2.3.11.13/5.17 {221/220, 243/242, 289/288}.

Null temperament (WIP), any subgroup, comma list is all the primes in said subgroup. A 0-dimensional temperament. Names proposed include cypher and devnull.

7-limit temperaments with different subgroups:

  • 4.6.5.7
    • Vigesimal (4.6.5.7 {25/24, 49/48})
    • Tetradominant (4.6.5.7 {36/35, 64/63})
    • Tetraugene (4.6.5.7 {64/63, 126/125})
  • 4.9.25.49
    • Supertonic (4.9.25.49 {1296/1225, 4096/3969})
    • Macroaugene (4.9.25.49 {4096/3969, 15876/15625})

Osmicolian comma: 12288/12005, a comma that came out of a diesis search I did for Godtone. The first name is osmium because he noticed the comma before me.

Sulbasutrisma (done), a comma (332929/332928) that is the difference between 577/408 and its octave complement.

sqrt(((3^200)/(2^317))^4*(((17/16)^4)/(81/64))^3) or 2.3.17 [-649 394 6>, an unnoticeable 2.3.17 comma which is about 0.00280 cents large.
