Paul Hahn is a musician and theorist. He is a giant in the world of regular temperament theory (RTT) and developed many ideas which are now fundamental pillars of the field.
He is a singer, cellist, violinist and keyboardist. In 1988, he graduated from Washington University, St. Louis with a bachelors degree in music.
In the 1990s, he conducted the Saint Louis Taiwanese Youth Chamber Orchestra (STYCO).
Through the 2000s, he sang with the vocal jazz ensemble ‘Offbeat’.
As of 2008, he was working at Washington University’s Gaylord Music Library and singing in the Saint Louis Symphony Chorus.
