This scale represents one out of 66 septatonic tetrachordal scales available in 31edo. Each tetrachord consists of 5 steps, followed by 5 steps, followed by 3 steps (where each step represents 1/31st of an octave, approximately 39 cents). The two tetrachords have a whole tone (5 steps: approx. 194 cents) separating them.
