Sean Archibald, also known as Sevish, is an electronic music composer. He is mainly known for his drum'n'bass tracks, following his motto "microtonal music with a beat", but also ambient tracks and everything in between. He also started several projects related to the promotion of microtonal music.
Projects
In 2010, Sevish founded the digital record label split-notes, dedicated to "microtonal music with a beat".
Since 2014, he runs a blog on his website where he posts about various subjects mostly related to microtonal music, including a few theory and software tutorials. He also produces similar content on his YouTube and Twitch channels.
Since 2017, he is the main developer of Scale Workshop, a web app for microtonal scale design and playback.
In 2018, he cocreated the podcast Now&Xen, which he cohosted for some time with Stephen Weigel.
