:1) [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:SyntaxHighlight Extension:SyntaxHighlight - MediaWiki] - there are a lot of code boxes (maple, python etc.) that could benefit from it

:2) [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:ImageMap Extension:ImageMap - MediaWiki] - maps of intervals and such could be easily linked to articles
