| == Jamesbond, Catler, etc. ==
| |
| Are temperaments such as Jamesbond and Catler going to be omitted from this tree because they become rank-1 when restricted to the 5 limit?
| |
| | |
| They're perfectly good rank-2 temperaments in the 7 limit.

| You can see what I did with omicronbeta. Do you think that is a good approach?

| Maybe a better on would be to have a top level of 7edo, 12edo, 31edo, 72edo etc temperaments when the badness figures are low enough to warrent it.

| |
| What makes this a tree? What are the numbers; some kind of badness?

| It's a work in progress. The numbers are logflat badness, and what makes it a tree is hypertext.

| I meant what logically makes it a tree, rather than, say, a directed acyclic graph.

| Would it be perhaps helpful if I coded up a nice JS interface for this, allowing you to show and hide branches from the tree? That way we'd only have one page instead of a hundred.

| Sure, but I'm still trying to figure out exactly what you have in mind with this; it's quite mysterious for now. This is basically a list of 5-limit temperaments, and then you click on one and it shows you all the children, right?
