Hi, my name is Ordway. I'm a learning composer (self-taught) with an interest in Microtones.

My goals are to create more microtonal music and develop practical music theory for alternate tunings.

Proposed names

Commas

Domino comma (92/91)

Difference between 23/13 and 7/4. Play on the word dominant.

Athenisma (391/390)

Difference between 39/34 and 23/20. Named after Athens.

Spartisma (300/299)

Difference between 15/13 and 23/20. Named after Sparta and a reference to 300.

Trientenths (6860/6859)

Divides the 5/2 Major tenth into three parts representing 19/14.

To-do

  • Compose
  • Add more info to stubs
  • Expand and add practical music theory pages
